The biennial print exhibition featured the 6 prize winners, hosted at the Northern Print gallery, hosting the work of Nif Hodgson, Hormazd Narielwalla, Tom Hammick, Manami Ito and Sun Ju Lee.

The way in which the exhibition itself was curated lends itself to each piece of work, the space organised in such a way to create an overwhelming sense of intimacy with the work, while leaving enough space in order to appreciate the enormity of some of the pieces of work.

Nif Hodgson tries to created a series of multiple plate etchings which were then screen printed using charcoal powder, through her work, Hodgson tries to create a sense of place within her prints, linking to the themes of dislocation and location.

When looking at Hormazd Narielwalla's work, you can see that he's attempting to explore the human form through abstraction, a form of meditation on the human condition.

In terms of the materials that Narielwalls uses, he includes materials that he's found, bespoke Savile Row tailoring patterns and their contemporary and antiquarian trade counterparts.

Sun Ju Lee uses a various range of print based processes as well as drawings and installation, she draws upon the interpretation of spaces in which people live, tackling the significance of the place.
