End of 1st week

By the end of the first week, I knew that I wanted to continue with the figurative/abstract portraiture that I started to explore towards the end of my last project. With this in mind, I began researching various abstract/figurative paint work, typically in a thick, almost impasto like fashion. With this in mind, I made 2 small scale canvases that focused on using palette knives and and exploring interactions with colour.
