Being Human

I feel that this quote underpins my studio practice, due to the fact the main subject matter of the majority of my works is other people, or on the occasion, myself. The quote reflects my interest in exploring humanity and being human through their representation on the canvas and in the medium of paint. I feel that it's a subject that provides endless possibilities within art, with no two subjects ever being the same.
